Qatar Exchange index gained 14.04 points (0.14%) this week when the bourse closed at 10,389.10 points Thursday afternoon. Trading value of QR 1,584,965,353.11 is a decrease by 30.79% compared to QR 2,290,151,860.64 registered last week. Trading volume of 55,702,892 shares is a decrease by 30.74% compared to 80,423,297 shares last week while, while the 22,628 transactions is a drop by 28.92% compared to 31,836 transactions. The Market capitalization fell by 0.19% to reach QR 553,978,127,566.29 as compared to QR 555,026,659,015.40 at the end of previous week. Banks and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 29.7% of the total traded value. Industries sector accounted for 14.97%. Real Estate sector accounted for 14.94% and Telecoms sector accounted for 13.20%. Telecoms sector led traded volume this week with 29.69% of the total traded volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 21.36%. Banks and Financial Services sector accounted for 18.02% and Transportation sector accounted for 13%. Banks and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions with 29.25% of the total number of transactions. Industries accounted for 16.25%. Real Estate accounted for 15.21% and Telecoms sector accounted for 13.32%. From the 42 listed companies 22 ended this week higher while 18 fell and two unchanged. Vodafone Qatar led the traded value this week with 11.93% of the total traded value. Masraf Al Rayan accounted for 9.54%.
