The Qatar Exchange down on Wednesday 21.99 points or 0.26% to 8,536.13 points from the previous closing of 8,558.12. The volume of shares traded fell to 4,769,451 from 6,314,520 Tuesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR211,204,314.40 from QR 281,220,723.48 Tuesday Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.74% to QR148.20 , Doha Bank lost 1.27 to QR54.60, Gulf International fell 1.02% to QR29.00 and Qatar Fuel down 1.13% to QR280.60. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector down 3.55 points while the Insurance sector dropped 48.89 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 10.65 points and the Services sector lost 43.30 points.
