Mixed performance at EGX, main index down 0.31%

Cairo - MENA
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed mixed performance on Thursday amid share sales by Egyptian and Arab institutions and investment funds.
The market capital reached 409.3 billion pounds after transactions worth 819 million pounds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index decreased by 0.31 percent to close at 7,756.3 points.
The EGX 100 index also went down by 0.02 percent to close at 791.84 points
Bucking the trend, the broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.26 percent to record 373.15 points.
