Mixed performance at EGX, main index up 0.81%

Cairo - MENA
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed mixed performance Wednesday on the back of relatively high activity of leading shares and profit-taking operations on SME shares.
Market capital gained 2.2 billion pounds to reach 409.5 billion pounds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index increased by 0.81 percent to close at 7,780.13 points.
The EGX 100 index also upped by 0.11 percent to close at 791.98 points
Bucking the trend, the broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) dropped by 0.08 percent to 372.2 points.
