KUWAIT - KUNA

The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange ended Tuesday trading at 6,378.2 points, an up of 3.7 points, while the weighted index came to 443.69 points, a gain of 2.47 points. The session saw 2,657 spot transactions worth KD 28,540,590, with 129,512, 500 shares changing hands. As for sector indices, trading ended on a mostly red board with banking and services the only green indices with ups of 149.9 points and 33.1 points. Biggest losses were seen in the investment, non-Kuwaiti companies, and food indices, down 19.6, 16.5, and 10.9 points respectively. Gainer share for the day was Ekttitab Holding, biggest loser was Inovest, while top volume share was Al-Safwa Group.
