Euro falls under $1.35 for first time in one month

The euro briefly fell under $1.35 for the first time in a month in Asian trade Thursday on deepening investor fears over political instability in Italy and Europe's ability to contain its debt crisis. At 0720 GMT, the euro slipped to $1.3495 from 1.3543 late Wednesday before edging higher.
