Egyptian exchange indexes up last week
Cairo - MENA
The Egyptian Exchange indexes closed last week up and the market capital gained EGP 4.75 billion to hit EGP 482.4 billion. During the course of the week, the benchmark index EGX 30 jumped up 2.36 percent to 8,295 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange, of which MENA received a copy. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) soared 0.64 percent, reaching 610 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 0.48 percent to hit 1,067 points. The capped index EGX 20 increased 2 percent, closing at 9,953 points.
