Dollar stays in lower ¥101 range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 101 yen range in early Tokyo deals Thursday, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York. At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.43-44 yen compared with 101.32-42 yen in New York and 100.94-95 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The euro fetched 1.3681-3685 dollars and 138.77-79 yen against 1.3681-3691 dollars and 138.67-77 yen in New York and 1.3716-3717 dollars and 138.45-49 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday
