Dollar changes hands at lower 103¥ level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 103 yen level early Monday in Tokyo. At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 103.18-19 yen compared with 103.20-30 yen in New York and 102.88-90 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday. The euro fetched 1.3877-3878 dollars and 143.18-20 yen against 1.3870-3880 dollars and 143.24-34 yen in New York and 1.3871-3873 dollars and 142.71-75 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
