Amman Stock Exchange Index Drops 13.7 Points This Week

Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) price index closed at 2,105.4 points, compared to 2,119.1 points for the last week, a decrease of 13.7 points (-0.65%).
The average daily trading volume reached Jordanian Dinar (JD) 8.0 Million compared to JD 7.4 Million for the last week, an increase of 7.2%. The total trading volume during the week reached JD 39.8 Million compared to JD 37.1 Million during the last week. Trading a total of 37.0 Million shares through 16,230 transactions.
The Financial index increased by 0.04%, the Industrial index decreased by 2.19%, and the Services index decreased by 0.74%. The shares of 163 companies were traded, the shares prices of 49 companies gained, 66 declined and 48 remained unchanged.
