Qatar Airways
Doha - QNA

Qatar Airways has strengthened its relationship with fellow oneworld member S7 Airlines, with the implementation of additional code-share routes across its network.
Qatar Airways first launched a code-share agreement with S7 Airlines late last year, allowing Qatar Airways’ passengers travelling from Doha to be able to connect onto destinations with S7 Airlines including Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Omsk, Perm, Rostov, Saint Petersburg, Samara, Sochi, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg.
Likewise, S7 Airlines’ passengers can book from Moscow to Colombo (Sri Lanka), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Hong Kong, Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Phuket (Thailand) via Doha.
Qatar Airways has strengthened its relationship with fellow oneworld member S7 Airlines The expansion of this agreement with S7 Airlines will now enable Qatar Airways passengers travelling to Moscow to travel onwards to the additional destinations of Abakan, Anapa, Barnaul, Bratsk, Chita, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhnekamsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Ufa, Ulan Ude, Volgograd, Voronezh and Yakutsk (Russia), all under one unified code.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: "It has been a period of rapid expansion for Qatar Airways, with new route launches around the globe and significant fleet growth. The further addition of these code-share routes, with oneworld member S7 Airlines, provides our passengers with an enhanced and unrivalled global network and enhances our competitive offering." The code-share expansion follows a period of major route and fleet expansion for Qatar Airways, which has seen the recent addition of 12 new destinations to the airline’s route network. The five-star airline now offers its passengers a choice of 146 key business and leisure locations around the globe.
Qatar Airways is also celebrating substantial fleet growth, with the recent addition of four new A380 aircraft, currently serving Paris, London and Bangkok, together with the launch of the world’s newest aircraft as Global Launch Customer, the Airbus A350 XWB, which currently flies double-daily from Doha to Frankfurt.
Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth in just 18 years of operation, to the point where today it is flying a modern fleet of 151 aircraft to 146 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
