Combined share of Hyundai, Kia at home inches up in October

The combined share of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp. in their home market edged up in October, for the first time in two months thanks to strong sales of Hyundai's full-sized vehicles, industry data showed Friday.
The two carmakers grabbed a combined 68.6 percent share of the local market last month, up 1.3 percentage points from 67.3 percent in September, according to the data. The figure had been on a downtrend since August.
