Manama - Arab Today

Oil supplies between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have resumed in record time, Bapco announced today.
It commended the strenuous efforts exerted by the personnel working with Bapco and Aramco.

In a press statement issued today, it expected the normal flow of supplies to be restored soon, as per the requirements of the refinery.

The company extended thanks to the Ministry of Interior, the security and safety teams, the Civil Defence servicemen and the on-site team for their tremendous efforts to resume oil supplies competently and avert any casualties.

Bapco also thanked residents in the area for their quick response and cooperation with competent agencies, which contributed to containing the blaze in record time.

The firm reiterated keenness on providing all oil by-products to meet Bahrain’s strategic needs.

“Operations are underway to increase the refining output gradually, in cooperation with Aramco, upon completion of repairs soon”, the statement said.
