Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) and Lulu International Exchange, a leading monetary exchange service provider in the Middle East, have joined hands to launch a single window whereby the ADDC’s customers can remit their water & electricity bills at any of the LuLu International Exchange branches. ADDC is an entity of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (Adwea) and works as the sole water & electricity services provider in Abu Dhabi and its dependencies, Mohammed Bin Jarsh, ADDC Deputy Managing Director and Adeeb Ahamed, Lulu International Exchange CEO, signed the agreement in a press conference organised on Monday at ADDC Main Office with the attendance of top officials from both sides and media people. The new services will allow consumers experience an ideal situation of paying their water and electricity bills without delay, as the accessibly located branches will empower the consumers to drop in and easily pay out their bills on a timely basis. Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Bin Jarsh, said: “This agreement comes as a part of our efforts to put in force the directives of Abu Dhabi Government and Adwea aimed at providing high quality water and electricity services to keep pace with the upward trend in population and economic growth the Emirate has witnessed throughout the last few years”. He added: “Such hassle-free services will help us to reduce queue time at ADDC’s customer services centers considerably. It is important to note here that no additional charges will be levied on our customers in return of availing themselves of the new services, they have only to pay the amount of money stated in their bills as it is FREE of charge service.” “We are honored to be join hands with ADDC in providing customers with tension-free environment to pay their water and electricity bills. We have mutually created a platform exclusively for the Abu Dhabi residents facilitating them to abate their bills at easily accessible points of contact,” said Adeeb Ahamed. For more than a decade, the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) is responsible for distributing high quality water and electricity services to all customers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (excluding the Al Ain Region). ADDC’s core business involves planning, designing, construction and operation of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity distribution network to ensure customer satisfaction. LuLu International Exchange has already marked its leading footprint in the money exchange business in the Middle East. It has been a source of relief for the millions of expatriates who are provided with prompt and quality financial services. ADDC is a public joint stock company that provides regulated service with revenues allowed by the Regulation and Supervision Bureau (RSB).
