1,226 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Muscat from the beginning of the year until the end of A

 There have been an increase in the number of SMEs registered with the Public Authority for SMEs Development 'Riyada' by the end of April 2017, the initial statistics released by the National Center for Statistics and Information reveal. The number increased by 3,581, totalling 26,802 in the Sultanate.

1,226 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Muscat from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017, a growth by 12.1% compared to the same period last year. The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 8,362. 

552 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Al Batinah from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a growth by 45.9% compared to the same period last year.

The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 4,137. 476 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of A'Dakhiliyah from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017 ; a decline by 53.1% compared to the same period last year.

The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 3,730.

354 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of South Al Batinah from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a growth by 5.5% compared to the same period last year.

The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 1,952. 236 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of North A'Sharqiyah from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a decline by 28.3% compared to the same period last year. The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 1,913.

221 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of A'Dhahirah from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a decline by 39.3% compared to the same period last year.

The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 1806.

202 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Dhofar from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a decline by 54.5% compared to the same period last year. The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 2,530.

206 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of South A'Sharqiyah from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a decline by 26.2% compared to the same period last year. The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 1,561.

61 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Al Buraimi from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a decline by 36.5% compared to the same period last year. The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 418.

53 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Al Wusta from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2017; a growth by 20.5% compared to the same period last year. The total number of SMEs in the governorate now stands at 290.

14 SMEs were registered in the Governorate of Musandam which increased the total number of SMEs in the governorate to 103.
