The Tunisian foreign investment flow edged down by 6.9 percent between 2015 and 2016 (first 11 months), standing at 1,923.0 million Tunisian dinars ($861 million) and a consecutive increase of 11.1 percent and 7 percent in comparison with 2014 and 2013.

    A statistical report showed today that the flow is divided between 1,863.4 million Tunisian dinars in foreign direct investments (FDI), up by 9.3 percent, and 59.6 MTD in portfolio investments, down by 40.5 percent.

    The report noted presence of 3,353 foreign enterprises on the Tunisian territory providing around 355,000 jobs
