South Korea's economic activities are moderating as lingering external risks weigh on the nation's exports and manufacturing sector, the finance ministry said Thursday. "The South Korean economy showed moderating growth mainly in exports and the manufacturing industry due to continuing external uncertainties," the ministry said in its monthly economy assessment report. "Economic uncertainties will likely continue to constrain domestic consumption and production in the future," it said.
