Floating funds in South Korea soared to new a record as investors continued to sit on them in search of higher profits amid a dearth of profitable investment destinations, data showed Monday.
Short-term floating funds reached a record 800.7 trillion won (US$706.1 billion) as of the end of January, according to the data compiled by the Bank of Korea and the Korea Financial Investment Association.
