Japan to finance seawater desalination plant in Tunisia's Sfax

Tunisian Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fishing Samir Taieb on Saturday said Japan approved a soft loan to finance the establishment of a seawater desalination plant in Tunisia's Sfax.
Addressing a parliamentary session, Taieb added that the loan agreement will be signed during the two-day international investment conference (Tunisia 2020), due to kick off Tuesday.
The Tunisian minister said 16 projects with investments of $ one billion will be offered during the conference.
