President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the visiting Kazakh foreign minister here on Sunday evening underlined the need for promotion of Tehran-Astana cooperation regarding current international developments. n a meeting with Yerzhan Kazykhanov, President Ahmadinejad said the two capitals should use all the existing potentials to boost bilateral ties in the fields of economy and banking. The Kazakh minister, for his part, said that Astana was interested to boost its cooperation with Tehran on regional and international developments including the Caspian Sea legal regime and the Afghanistan issue.
