GCC-US srategic coop. forum opens

The first GCC-US Economic Cooperation Forum opened here today. Qatar's delegation to the meeting is led by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Thani. The convening of GCC-US Economic Cooperation Forum comes in the context of GCC leaders endeavour to enhance bilateral relations between the GCC states and friendly states and world economic blocs as well as to extend bridges of contacts and cooperation with different world countries. The forum will discuss the overall relations of cooperation between the GCC and US sides in various political, economic, trade and cultural aspects in addition to the political situation in region and regional and international matters of interest to both sides.
