Egypt, China review cooperation under Silk Road Fund

Egyptian Ambassador to China Osama el Magdoub had talks on Tuesday with Silk Road Fund CEO Jin Qi on means of Egypt's benefit of the fund's allocations.
The talks tackled investment opportunities in Egypt and positive steps taken recently by Egypt to encourage foreign investments.
The Silk Road Fund is a state owned investment fund of the Chinese government to foster increased investment in countries along the One Belt, One Road, an economic development initiative primarily covering Eurasia. The Chinese government pledged dlrs 40 billion for the creation of the investment fund established on December 29, 2014.
