Forty-eight Egyptian companies will participate in the 2015 Kenya Chemex exhibition for plastic, packing, printing and packaging due to be held from December 7 to 9.

The Egyptian Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council under Khaled Abul Makarem managed to encourage companies from other countries like Indonesia, India, Iran and Turkey to take part in the fair.

Abul Makarem said Kenya is a key market for absorbing Egyptian products of chemicals and fertilizers.

Egyptian exports to Kenya have reached 283.69 million dollars in 2014.

The Kenya Chemex 2015 is now the most important and wanted platform for the chemical industries in Africa which takes places in Kenya; the biggest and most advanced economy in east Africa.
