Thirty-eight ships transited the Suez Canal on Monday, with a total cargo of about 1.8 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 19 vessels carrying 856.000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 19 ships carrying one million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority
