The Cabinet in its weekly meeting on Wednesday directed all ministers to give southerners priority to fill vacant jobs in the civil service and the armed and security forces.
The cabinet's decision comes in light of the Article 11 of outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), which stipulates giving priority to southerners to fill the vacant posts in the state institutions.
In this regard, the Cabinet instructed its Secretary General and the National Commission to oversee the implementation of the NDC outcomes, in coordination with the political body of the peaceful southern movement participating in the NDC, to follow up the implementation and raise the results to the Prime Minister.
