The Ministry of Labour, MoL, will be a key participant in the U.A.E. Government's stand at GITEX 2014, the largest gathering of the region's leading ICT retailers and suppliers, where it will be showcasing its initiatives and services that are in place to shift to smart government in line with the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister of U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide the best services to all customers.
Saif Al Suwaidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Institutional and Supporting Services at MoL, said, "The ministry, through its participation in the exhibition, aims to provide the latest technological improvements in all its systems, especially when it comes to the smartphones applications." "We will continue to participate every year in GITEX to introduce our best applied practices and achieve our strategic objective of providing our services 24/7 in order to better serve our customers, and contribute towards the regulation of the labour market. The ministry will highlight the privileges offered by the private sector to national human resources to increase employment opportunities in such an attractive environment." Al Suwaidi pointed out that the ministry seeks to support different initiatives in order to build partnerships with the private sector enterprises, implement its strategic plan of providing high quality services that are in line with the smart government initiative, and promote the principle of transparency with business owners.
