Saudia's non-oil exports and imports

The value of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's non-oil commodity exports in September 2014 amounted to SR (17772) million, down by (5.41 %) compared to the same period of 2013, while imports amounted to SR (52072) million, down by ( 0.9 %) compared to the same period of 2013.
The Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) said in its report to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that plastics and rubber products topped the list of non-oil commodity exports during the month of September by 34.68% amounting to SR 6,163 million, followed by chemical industry products by 30.38 % amounting to SR 5,400 million, and ordinary metals and their products by 8.31 % amounting to SR 1,477 million.
According to the report, the value of the Kingdom's imports of machinery, equipment, and electrical appliances increased by 23.43 % amounting to SR 12,201 million; transport equipment by SR 20.16 % amounting to SR 10,497 million; and ordinary metals and their products by 11.84 % amounting to SR 6,163 million.
The People's Republic of China ranked first in terms of the value of non-oil commodity exports by 12.23%, followed by the United Arab Emirates by 12.00 %, and India by 6.79 %; while the People's Republic of China topped the list of countries importing non-oil commodities by 14.16 %, the United States of America came in the second place by 12.73 %, and Germany, the third by 6.59 %.
