A separate Business Center at the Saudi Embassy in Sudan helps citizens and Sudanese businessmen to promote bilateral trade and investment between the two countries, said Ali bin Hassan Jaafar, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador designate to Khartoum.
The ambassador made these remarks during his recent meeting with Hamdan Al-Samreen, president of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), in Riyadh.

Jafar said that the Saudi Embassy in Sudan has created the business center with the aim of providing vital information and statistics to investors.

Such efforts stem from the embassy’s keenness to strengthen Saudi-Sudanese economic relations across all sectors, he said and wished Saudi investors more prosperity in their endeavors.

The ambassador offered his support for the two parties to promote businesses between the two countries through the Saudi-Sudan Joint Business Council to assist Saudi investors in Sudan.

He said he would cooperate with the concerned bodies in Sudan to follow up on all issues and challenges facing Saudi investors in the Sudanese market.

Al-Samreen also commended the envoy’s efforts to support Saudi investors in Sudan, which he said would further promote trade and investment relations between Saudi Arabia and Sudan.

He also noted the embassy’s support for investors in settling issues.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, said in Riyadh earlier that Saudi missions abroad should be open to all citizens to serve in a fitting manner, as per the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

The crown prince was addressing 17 ambassadors, who were designated to various countries at his office in Riyadh on Wednesday.

Nizar Obaid Madani, minister of state for foreign affairs, also attended the reception for the ambassadors.
Jaafar was one of the 17 ambassadors designated by King Salman last month.
