Kathleen Wynne, the Premier of Ontario, Canada has sent a letter to the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Industry in Canada calling for greater economic cooperation between Morocco and Canada.

Ahead of the event of MaroCan 2017, set to take place March 11 to 19 in the Canadian embassy in Rabat, the Premier of Ontario in Canada sent a letter to the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Industry in Canada, calling for a stronger cooperation with Morocco, particularly in the economic sector. In her letter, Wynne hailed the objectives that the organization attempts to achieve through the event.

Kathleen Wynne explained that the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Industry in Canada aims to deepen Canadian companies’ understanding of Morocco, create connections with local entrepreneurs and decision-makers, and lay the foundations for fruitful, mutually beneficial partnerships between Moroccan and Canadian companies.

The Canadian official stated that representatives of the government will work towards strengthening the bilateral relations between Morocco and Canada, noting that she hopes this event will meet its objectives.

The Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Industry in Canada will collaborate with the General Federation of Enterprises and Professions based in Morocco, and numerous ministries and banking institutions. These institutions will work together to bring Moroccan-Canadian entrepreneurs, Canadian investors, officials, and economists to Morocco.

Moroccan entrepreneurs will also take part in this event, which will take place in the Canadian embassy in Rabat alongside their Canadian counterparts. These will also attend the fifth session of Attijariwafa’s Forum Afrique Développement, along with a number of African financial institutions and enterprises.
