The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine increased in June 2014 by 0.36% compared with May 2014, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
It said while CPI increased by 0.87% in the Gaza Strip and by 0.22% in the West Bank, it decreased by 0.33% in Jerusalem.
The CPI during June 2014 increased by 0.94% compared with June 2013; it increased by 3.39% in Jerusalem, by 2.47% in the Gaza Strip, and by 0.91% in the West Bank.
The CPI during first six months of 2014 increased by 1.72% compared with the same period of the previous year, said the PCBS.
It increased by 4.73% in Jerusalem, by 2.27% in the West Bank, and by 1.45% in the Gaza Strip.
