OIC affirms its participation in Donors' Conference

Chairman of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Prof. Ekmelddin Ihsan-Oglu, has received at the OIC premises in Jeddah, the Chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority Dr. Tigani Sessi, accompanied by the Minister of the Supreme Council for Investment, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, the State Minister at the Presidency of the Republic and Official of Darfur file, Dr. Amin Hassan Omer, and Sudan Ambassador Saudi Arabia. Dr. Sessi has extended an invitation to Prof. Ihsan-Oglu to attend and participate in Donors' Conference, scheduled to be held in Doha during April 7 - 8. The meeting also tackled the ongoing arrangements to hold the conference. Prof. Ihsan-Oglu has confirmed the OIC commitment to participate effectively at the Donors Conference and encouraging others to participate, especially that the OIC is a member of the following-up committee for implementation of Darfur Peace Agreement.
