Navigation at Alexandria and Dekhaila straits continued Friday, despite the rain.
Ship movement is going on normally, chairman of the Alexandria Port Authority Medhat Attiya said Friday.
Alexandria traffic police boosted services to ease the flow of traffic.
The authorities are also on high alert ahead of a seven-day rainy gale that will be accompanied by strong winds.
