Closing the ports of Tartus and Latakia due to weather conditions

Director General of ports Gen. Maytham Ibrahim Al Yousuf confirmed the closure of ports of Tartus, Lattakia and Banias oil refinery before navigation movement due to bad weather conditions and the speed of wind which reached 75 KM per hour.

According to Yousuf, those ports are expected to reopen on Monday, SANA said. 

The ports of Tartus and Banias oil refinery were shut before maritime navigation in 14th of the last month due to weather conditions, he added.
