A high ranked official revealed that, Kuwait decided to provide Iraq with a 100 million dollar grant to support humanitarian projects and buildings in places restored from Daesh. This the first Kuwaiti financial grant to Iraq since the Iraqi invasion to Kuwait in 1990.
Spokeswoman for Iraqi Reconstruction Fund said that the two countries signed the agreement on Tuesday, while the head of the fund confirmed that this grant is the beginning of more cooperation between Iraq and Kuwait.
