Amman - MENA

Illegal Egyptian workers have been given a two-month grace period as of Wednesday to adjust their status, announced the Egyptian Embassy in Jordan.
The Jordanian Cabinet approved to regulate and reintegrate illegal Egyptian workers in the formal labor market, said the embassy.
In a statement, obtained by MENA, the Embassy said that during the first month of the grace period, the Jordanian authorities will only obtain fees of issuing new work permit without retroactive effect.
