National exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) amounted to JD 2.666 billion during the past eight months compared to JD 2.628 billion for the same period of last year,the chamber figures revealed .
In terms of sectorial importance, ACI report released Thursday said that chemicals and cosmetics topped the list of exports reaching JD 556 million followed by mining industries with JD 485 million , engineering , electrical and IT industries with JD 395 million .
The figures also showed that Iraq ,with JD 575 million,accounted for the largest chunk of ACI exports,followed by Saudi Arabia with JD 369 million ,India with JD 252 million and the USA with JD 248 million.
