Egypt's PM meets EFSA board

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has said that funding and insurance breathe life into any financial activities.
The government is keen on upgrading financial services and tools to meet needs of mega projects and national investment, Mahlab told board members of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) Tuesday.
He said his government is also acting to develop the micro-finance, insurance and mortgage systems.
The government wants to do this in coordination with the EFSA with the aim to upgrade the financial, non-banking services in Egypt, the premier said.
