Egypt's PM Sherif Ismail
Cairo - MENA

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Monday issued several decrees, approving general strategic plans for a number of cities in Dakahlia, Sharqia, Port Said, Beheira, Beni Suif, Gharbeia, Kafr El Sheik, Menofia and Beheira.

The Prime Minister also okayed plans for Menia's Magaga, Fayyum's Ibshway and Fayyum, and a 733,66 feddan land in Assuit allocated to establish an integrated residential complex project.

The plans aim to secure farmland from encroachments, prevent the creation of new slums, resettle public services, provide suitable housing units and improve living standards through several proposed development projects.
