Egypt's Ministers of International Cooperation, Social Solidarity and Investment held a meeting on Friday with World Bank Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa Hafez Ghanem.

The meeting took up means to boost economic cooperation and investment.

Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali described the meeting with Ghanem and the World Bank's officials as "positive."

The World Bank renewed commitment to support Egypt's economy, Wali said.

The bank will provide more than one billion dollar per annum in support to projects in Egypt, the minister said.
