President Abdel Fattah el Sisi
Cairo - MENA

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Tuesday that Egypt plans to carry out a group of major development projects like the New Suez Canal.
"The new projects will be announced when atmospheres are suitable to guarantee their success," Sisi said while answering a question by MENA chief editor on a new nuclear power project to generate electricity.
"Do not worry about the nuclear power project in Dabaa, but we will not announce any giant projects unless conditions are appropriate to make them a success," Sisi said during his meeting with chief editors of the Egyptian national newspapers and MENA.
Earlier, Sisi attended a drill carried out by the Navy forces off Alexandria coasts on the occasion of the Navy Day.
