Egypt's National Committee to restore funds abroad led by Prosecutor General Counselor Nabil Sadeq decided to approve a reconciliation deal with former minister of trade and industry Rashid Mohammad Rashid after he was acquitted of all charges of squandering public funds.

Well-informed judicial sources said the committee decided to approve the reconciliation after it reviewed official reports confirming the acquittal of Rashid from all charges of squandering public funds and that all investments of Rashid's family have been established before he assumed post in 2004.
