Egypt's Agriculture Ministry
Cairo - MENA

Egypt and South Sudan agreed on establishing an ideal farm on an area of 300 feddans in Wau city of northwestern South Sudan for livestock and milk production.

In a press release on Sunday, Egypt's Agriculture Ministry said Egyptian Ambassador to South Sudan, on behalf of Minister of Irrigation and Acting Minister of Agriculture Hossam Moghazi, will sign the agreement on Tuesday.

The statement added that the farm will provide 50 job opportunities to youth in South Sudan.

The project comes within the government's efforts to boost relations with Juba in all fields, the statement further said.
