Cairo Chamber of Commerce on Thursday signed a cooperation protocol with Amman Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to increase the trade exchange between Egypt and Jordan.
During a meeting held at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce's headquarters, an ICC delegation called for increasing Egyptian investments in Jordan.
The protocol would allow the formation of sub-committees to address the obstacles hindering the transport between the two countries, said a well-placed official with the Egyptian chamber.
A delegation of the Cairo chamber was invited to pay a visit to Jordan to get to know the investment opportunities there.
