Minister of Vocation Training, Noureddine Bedoui said Wednesday in Algiers the sector's strategy aims at ensuring "professional" national labor that will effectively contribute to building national economy.
The minister, who was guest of a TV show,said the sector's strategy aims through training by learning at "meeting the challenge" while ensuring a "professional" national workforce so as to "put an end to foreign labor", mainly in some fields.
In this regards, he said the field of vocational training is a "major strategic" areaas it represents the foundation of national development.
"More than 51,000 youth have been trained in the field of housing," he said, noting that all means exist to train the young workforce in several fields.
The priority of the sector is to "control the dynamics of national development" while meeting the needs of business and labor market in terms of skilled labor, especially in tourism, construction and agriculture, Bedoui added.
Regarding the Vocational Training session 2014-2015, to start next Sunday, the Minister announced that more than 250,000 new trainees in different fields will join 1200 training centers nationwide.
