Meeting
Algiers - APS

Algeria and Tunisia on Monday in Algiers signed two memorandums of understanding in the field of construction and public works.
The MoUs provide for the creation of enterprise groupings and engineering offices in both countries.
The Memorandums were signed by Minister of Housing, Town Planning and the City Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of Public Works Abdelkader Kadi, and Tunisian Minister of Equipment, Environment and Sustainable Development El Hadi Larbi.
In a statement to the press at the end of the signing ceremony, Tebboune underlined that the Algerian market is open to the Tunisian partners in the field of construction and engineering.
For his part, Kadi said that the Tunisians possess expertise in the field covered by the MoUs and enterprise groupings are needed to operate both in Algeria and Tunisia and in other African countries.
Thus, Tebboune will pay shortly a visit to Tunisia to start the realization phase of these agreements, indicated Tunisian Minister who was receiver earlier on Monday by Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal.
During a meeting held Sunday between Tebboune and Larbi, it was agreed that partnerships between Algeria and Tunisia are in place between public and private construction companies in both countries to launch construction sites in Algeria and Tunisia.
