A ship laden with 6,500 tons of butane gas coming from the Saudi port of Yanbu sailed into el Zaitiyat port, Spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority Malak Youssef said on Saturday.

The Red Sea port of Safaga received two ships carrying 1,732 passengers, including 1,500 workers serving pilgrims, 95 trucks and eight cars, Youssef noted.

A ship with 417 passengers, 24 coolers, eight trucks and two cars on board sailed in Nuweiba Port, Youssef added.
