Yemen partakes in international festival for traditional arts in Cairo

Yemen participates in the International Festival for Drumsand Traditional Arts " 2nd Round" organized by the Egyptian culture ministry inCairo on April 19-25.Director of the Yemeni Cultural Center in Cairo Aisha al-Awlaki said that thecarnival is a global cultural event, in which 32 bands from 22 Arab and foreignstates will participate. A number of Aden theater association's members will perform several Yemenifolklore dances in the Festival, she added.On the sidelines of the Festival, the Center will hold a market for handicraftproducts and a photo gallery highlights human culture and the cultural heritageamong peoples, al-Awlaki said.
