Oman's Ministry of Tourism has won the Golden Award for the ‘Best Usage of Social Media’ in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the Arab Travel Market Expo 2017 in Dubai.

The award was received Maitha bint Saif Al Mahrooqi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism head of the Sultanate’s delegation to the 24th Edition of the Arab Travel Market Expo 2017 Forum, held in Dubai International Commercial Centre, UAE with local, regional and international participation. 

On the sidelines of the event, undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism has participated in the ministerial forum of the World Tourism Organisation held with the participation of ministers and undersecretaries representatives of the Arab tourism ministries and institutions.
