Poetry Festival
Sharjah - WAM

In presence and patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the 15th edition of the Sharjah Arabic Poetry Festival will begin tomorrow.

The festival will run until 13th of January and will host a number of Emirati and Arab poets.

The event will honour Moheieldeen Al Fateh from Sudan and Ibrahim Mohammed Ibrahim from the UAE with the Sharjah Award for Arab poetry.

The festival is organised by Bait Al Shi'r (House of Poetry) of the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information.
