Ambassadors of 5 Islamic countries celebrate Nowruz in Cairo

Turkish Ambassador to Egypt Huseyin Avni Botsali on Saturday held a reception to celebrate Nowruz in his resident in Cairo. The ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan as well as Afghanistan's charge d'affaires also attended the reception. During the event, Botsali said that Nowruz is celebrated by millions of people since thousands of years. He hoped that Nowruz will be a celebration in which Egypt will witness peace, prosperity, and stability. About 300 million people are celebrating Nowrus in the regions of Caucasus, Central Asia, and Middle East since three thousand years, Azerbaijani ambassador to Egypt Shahin Abdullayev said.
